Surftech’s sandwich construction with superior flex characteristics outperforms the highest performance poly board.
Responding to surfer’s desire to surpass their existing levels of surfing, our TL2’s lively sandwich core provides faster response and greater projection through turns. Unlike any board on the market, TL2 construction offers a new level of surfboard performance. Foremost is the liveliness of the composite core, which provides a precise flex pattern and a livelier response that allows you to draw more speed and power through your turns.
There are no rigid wood stringers in TL2’s, so the boards have a full range of flex from rail to rail and tip to tail. Prior to glassing, each Techlite core is individually hand tuned to insure the highest quality of craftsmanship. A hand laminated, clear epoxy finish adds strength while accentuating the flawlessness of our Acrylite composite blank. Each TL2 model is the result of an individual shaper’s lifetime of experience. Built precisely to the scrutiny of these renowned designers, they are tested and validated by the world best surfers. The greatest designs, meshed with the greatest materials; TL2’s lead the market, integrating performance and durability into the highest quality surfboards available.
Four years in the engineering process and developed with some of the best surfers in California and Hawaii, this is the future of high-performance surfboards.
Sandwich Construction: By using different layers of materials, we achieve the flex and performance we want, while keeping the weight down and maximizing the board strength.
Acrylite High Density Foam. This flawless exterior foam provides a protective foam surface and defines the unique flex and projection of a TL2.
Clear EPOXY Glass: Stronger, lighter and higher quality.
Hand Tuned Rails: Masterful sanded finishes guarantee a perfect edge to every TL2 rail
Acrylite Wrapped Rail: Similar to the glassing process, Wrapping our exterior foam around the rail provides strength, eliminates “splitting” and improves longevity of our boards
