NSP - Race - Ninja Pro Carbon

USD$2,899.00

An NSP Ninja comes recessed, extremely balanced and unlike any other flatwater racer

The NSP Ninja is a result of the increasing demand for dedicated flatwater racing machines. If you look back several years ago, paddle racers were only given displacement hulls and we surfed them, we raced downwind, and we used them in flat-water conditions.

Today, we offer the NSP Ninja, giving paddlers the option of an incredibly fast flat-water shape. A lower centre of gravity really helps the stability when you are racing, allowing for a design that benefits from a reduced width. A new Ninja with a width of just 20″ is an incredible fast flatwater weapon.

With the demands of flatwater racers evolving, we eliminated the 12’6″ from the racing program and focussed on a full-size range instead. The result is a more complete 2020 Ninja line-up, consisting of four different widths.

Long-distance racers will immediately appreciate the efficiency of the Ninja, allowing athletes to conserve their energy until it is time to sprint and leave their adversaries in their wake.

ECOBOARD CERTIFIED
This board is recognized by the Sustainable Surf Foundation as a Level One Eco Board;

“An ECOBOARD is a high-performance sustainable board. It has the same technical performance attributes as any modern water-sport board, while having reduced environmental and toxic impacts.”

DESIGN:

– Recessed deck for a low centre of gravity, adding stability
– A relatively wide tail helps performance and confident buoy turning
– Accelerator Vacuum System (AVS) for quick water drain out off the deck
– Full-length nose

FINS:

The NSP 22 and 24 racing fins are designed to deliver top performance: Expect excellent tracking, stability, efficiency, speed and easy acceleration. We recommend the 22 Racing Fin for the 20″-wide Ninja, the 21″ and 22″. Our racing team produced the best and most consistent results on the 24″ with the 24 racing fins.

SPECIAL FEATURES

The Ninja comes a full-length nose and an aggressive bulbous design that benefits from optimal hydrodynamics.

Additional features are its neoprene handles, several balanced fixture points and the proven 4 drain holes that immediately expel excess water from the dugout. A patented GORE® vent near the GoPro (or GPS) fixture point prevents a pressure build-up, allowing oxygen to pass but keeping out moisture.

CARBON REINFORCED RAIL LIPS & CARBON RAIL BAND

By using Innegra™ Carbon for the rail lips in favour of “conventional” biaxial carbon, one of the most ding-prone areas on any raceboard is drastically reinforced without weight penalties. Ding resistance, durability and damage tolerance all increase, protecting your equipment.

All 2020 recessed NSP Raceboards benefit from this new construction, along with Uni-directional rail bands (on the side) and 100% biaxial carbon layups (on the deck and bottom).

Length Width Thickness Volume (L)
14'0" 20" Recessed Deck 236.4L
14'0" 22" Recessed Deck 250.6L
14'0" 24" Recessed Deck 266.5L
