Description
Gerry Lopez calls this glider the “secret weapon.” If you are looking for an unfair advantage over the rest of the crowd, look no further than this fast paddling, quick gliding, lightning bolt of a board. Very subtle bottom contours allow Gerry’s Glider to move over flat water with ease, giving this board a feel of magical momentum. A flat deck hides extra volume under the chest when paddling and creates stability when gliding from section to section. A pulled-down rail allows the board to change direction without having to muscle it and also cuts nicely across steep sections of the wave face. Minimal rider feedback is necessary to get this bad boy up and going. You really just need to make it to your feet, and the board will do the rest. The Gerry Glider will make 1ft waves a blast but could potentially be ridden in large surf as well if the surfer is capable of handling the speed the board generates. *Flax color may vary slightly.

Amazing board
"I've had 7 or 8 sessions on this board so far. It's amazing, so fun. You can sit on the inside and pick off small waves or sit outside and get in early. Its my first surf tech board and I wasn't sure if I was going to like the feel as I've never liked the corkiness of EPS boards but it rides great, not an issue. I've had multiple regulars at my break come up and ask me what I'm riding bc I'm getting into everything. I had a session on a busy Saturday at Sano and literally lost count of how many waves I'd gotten after the first hour or so. Mostly ridden in waist to shoulder size so far but on some bigger waves this thing is really fast. The selfish part of me didn't want to leave a review and have more people get their hands on this secret weapon, but Gerry deserves the aloha on this creation."

"When I hear "Glider" I used to think hard to ride, only go straight, etc. Not so with Gerry's Glider. This thing is incredibly fun. Turns great, holds the face, trims, has lots of projection, and incredibly easy to paddle and catch waves. This construction is interesting. It feels like an EPS when under your arm or paddling but it surfs a lot more like a poly. No chatter, just projection and stability. Intuitive and predictable. Highly recommended. I can't image my quiver without this thing now. Also, it's not just for small waves. It works great in some size."
