Surftech and DMS introduce Fusion Injection-Tech Surfboards
What is Fusion Injection-Tech?
Fusion Injection-Tech is a newly patented precision-engineered torsion control system designed to optimize surfboard performance. Injection-Tech utilizes the pressures and forces from the surfer and the wave itself, called elastic energy. By strategically engineering the position of the reinforcing material on the bottom of the board, we create less resistance to torsional (twisting) flex, allowing the board to flow through turns with a more enhanced turning arch. Utilizing a proprietary construction technique, the continuous length of reinforcing material is injected through the core of the board from the bottom to the deck, increasing drive, torque, and pop in the tail region, much like the tail fin of a dolphin or tuna. Resulting in generating increased speed and power.

The Thunderbird
Sporting a slightly wider nose and fuller outline, the ThunderBird paddles with ease. It comes with performance characteristics built into the bottom contours. The Thunderbird can be ordered as a high performance hybrid. This model works well in a large range of conditions from grovel beach breaks to quite punchy reefs. A great all rounder that can adapt to many conditions.

The Gherkin
Built short, wide and super flat the Gherkin is a fast fun model. The giant crown tail provides some extra bite and hold through turns and releases water quickly. We have used the nose entry from our Crumpet and combined it with the crown model from our performance range for the right blend of performance and flow.The Gherkin can be surfed super short and will thrive in sessions that usually send you home to grab your longboard.

The X-Wing
Originating from the SuperCell, the X-Wing has a few add-ons to spice things up. We have stepped in the tail by the addition of a single flyer which helps act as a pivot point and helps with release off the top. The bottom contour runs single concave moved forward and a center channel for down the line speed and drive. This combined with a mid soft rail profile creates a ride that is fast flowing and suited to those who like to give it everything through open face hacks.
