With its performance-driven outline, the Alley Rat features a pulled-in nose and refined tail for optimal control and speed. By streamlining foam distribution, Timmy created a board that transitions seamlessly through turns, maintaining flow even at high velocity. The medium continuous tail rocker provides exceptional down-the-line speed while still allowing quick, reactive maneuvering in tight pockets. A semi-hidden flat spot under the chest boosts paddling power and acceleration, while a subtle flip in the nose enhances control in steeper sections. The moderately full, soft rails strike the perfect balance—offering forgiveness without sacrificing precision at speed. It’s a board that grovels with high-performance intent but still holds strong when the waves turn on. The bottom contours are tuned for versatile performance: a single concave under the front foot generates speed, transitioning into a double concave through the fins, then flattening off the tail for smooth, rail-to-rail transitions.
