DESCRIPTION

Designed by Dale Chapman, The DC Surf X in SLX Flax construction is our team rider go-to-board. Pros and experienced paddlers have come to appreciate the performance of the DC Surf X all over the globe in some of the very best spots in the world.

Design

Our DC Surf range now features an eco-friendly Paulownia wood deck and flax rails for added strength and durability; keeping in line with our brand’s eco-friendly/sustainability initiatives.
Swallowtail loosens up the tail, creating that twin-like ride.
Straight speed channels provide a quicker route to the tail of the board, generating speed.
Performance riders will appreciate the extra grip with our newly designed Thermoformed EVA tail kick pad with a center arch.

6’10”

A team rider favorite, developed for riders whose skills have outgrown larger designs. Get ready for an uncompromised riding experience!

7’2”

The 7’2” is a perfect step-up board from the 6’10. It’s fast and turns on a dime. Benefits from the swallowtail and upgraded flax rails for more durability.

7’8”

Designed for experienced riders up to 75kg, the 7’8” benefits from the swallowtail and upgraded rails for more durability.

8'2"

Designed for experienced riders up to 85kg, the 8'2" benefits from the swallowtail and upgraded rails for more durability.

8'6"

Designed for experienced riders up to 90kg, the 8’6” benefits from the swallowtail and upgraded rails for more durability.

Fins
The DC Surf X comes with a set of J5 RTM performance thrusters with FTU (Futures compatible) fin slots. For Twin tabs, there may still be a version we stock in your size?

Excellent Shape

"I have the 7-8, weigh 140lb, and live where it tends to be choppy. Very stable for the volume. I could go smaller if conditions were good. I like the swallow tail. I like the limited rocker which helps the stability. The construction is mid, not comparable to carbon but decent. I would also like an option for quad setup. Pad very good quality. Color looks good in person with a nice wood grain that doesn't show much in the photos. The price is pretty good. Stock fins are good. Packaging fairly minimal but it was fine."
