Donald’s favorite glider! This Hawaiian Cross Country glider was inspired by the outer reefs on Oahu’s South Shore. Although this board is long, it is still capable of noseriding and turning like a board shorter in size. It has a DT-1 rocker, so anyone used to riding other Takayama’s will feel very comfortable on the Prince Kuhio. The medium rocker helps make paddling easy and surfing user-friendly. Also included are Donald’s patented 60/40 rails and tucked under edge, making this board very forgiving in turns. Available in a 3 fin setup capable of riding as a single fi n or 2+1 setup depending on the surfer’s style. Now in Tuflite Pro!

"Stunned my the maneuverability and the easy bottom turns. Nose riding is easier than ever. Biggest surprise was how easy it was to adjust to such a large size. I was grabbing rail down the line on a 4-6ft day like it was nothing. Actually had a guy yell at me for catching too many waves (then he came and apologized lol) I got the 2021 colorway which I like better and put a 10" greenough 4A in the back."

"I've been riding the same 11' softtop for over 26 years. It's a pig shape similar to the Munoz Ultra Glide. . . The 11'1" PK model and its rounded pigtail just don't turn as snappy as I can with my other square tailed pig shape. I wish I could have ridden one like I did with my other board 26+ years ago. This was a lot more expensive and with shipping to Hawai'i I am bummed and hesitant to try another board."
"The rails near the tail need more edge. Its just too soft. Not enough emphasis was put on keeping it sharp back there. I think in general the design might have started sharper and softened after all the iterations of it. But it just doesn’t turn like it needs to."
